Sigh No More - Mumford & Sons
Love that will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, it will set you free. Be more like the man you were made to be. There is a design, an alignment to cry. At my heart you see the beauty of love as it was made to be.
After The Storm - Mumford & Sons
And there will come a time, you’ll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
Night has always pushed up day. You must know life to see decay. But I won’t rot, I won’t rot. Not this mind and not this heart. I won’t rot.
day 03 - a song that makes you happy
Roll Away Your Stone - Mumford & Sons
A couple jobs ago, I used to play this song when I opened. And I would blast it in the back, and I would sing at the top of my lungs “STAAAAAAAR HIDE YOUR FIIIRES THESE HERE ARE MY DESIRESSSS AND I WON’T GIVE THEM UP TO YOU THIS TIME AROOOUND”.
Macbeth? Mumford & Sons? Yes, please. This song always picks me up, even if the lyrics aren’t exactly “happy”. Also, I just really love Mumford & Sons. So logically, they’re going to make me happy.
Mumford & Sons // Thistle & Weeds
Spare me your judgements and spare me your dreams, ‘cause recently mine have been tearing my seams. I sit alone in this winter clarity which clouds my mind. Alone in the wind and the rain you left me. It’s getting dark darling, too dark to see, and I’m on my knees, and your faith in shreds, it seems.

And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.

With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
I Gave You All - Mumford & Sons
If only I had an enemy bigger than my apathy I could have won.
